Prof. Dr. med. Ralph Braun is a specialist in dermatology and venereology and Professor of Dermatology and Dermato-Oncology at the University of Zurich. His focus is on the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Prof. Braun has extensive experience in clinical research and AI-supported image diagnostics and combines modern technology with personal, understandable patient care.

The skin is our largest organ and protects us from environmental influences; diseases of the skin can therefore severely affect our physical well-being and quality of life.
Clinical dermatology deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes. Frequent tasks include the diagnosis of skin rashes, chronic inflammation (e.g. eczema, psoriasis), infections, as well as the early detection and treatment of skin cancer.
